How will things change?  How much will it cost?  How will it be paid for?

How will the golf club change?
  • It won't. The Design subcommittee took great pains to maintain the current vibe of the golf club.  It remains untouched.
  • Construction will be phased and managed to minimize impact with full operations being capable at the golf club at all times.

How will the tennis facility change?
  • Minimally. The tennis building itself will not be affected as the Design subcommittee took great pains to maintain the current feel of the tennis club.
  • Two (2) Courts will be relocated with the intention that twelve courts always remain in service throughout construction, preserving the tennis club's ability to retain members, classes and events during construction.

How will the trails and riders be affected?
  • Minimally. The riding community felt the best location on the golf and tennis campus was between the Player’s Club and Tennis Facility.  On the campus, this location was deemed the least intrusive to activity on the trails.
  • There will be a “non-slip grip” added to the entryway to the Club.

How much will it cost?

  • The current estimates place the total cost at just under $10 million. Member donations already committed cover 10% of the construction costs, bringing the current price to the community to under $9 million.
  • Dues will not be increased for this project.

How will it be paid for and maintained?

  • Once the Design subcommittee completes its work in November 2015, the Membership and Finance subcommittees are expected to take this final design and develop workable models for both membership, construction and maintenance.
  • Various membership fee options are under discussion, ranging from free for all Covenant members to a nominal membership fee, the goal being to make the Covenant Club accessible to as broad set of RSF demographics as possible, both for entry and on a monthly basis.
