When will it happen? What's the timeline?
Currently, the Covenant Club is in the Feasibility Phase as it comes up with the best design, membership models and financial estimates for both construction and maintenance. In March 2016, a community-wide vote is expected (are you registered to vote?). After approval by the Association Board, it will take about 18 months for construction.

- 1945 – Original vision of the Covenant included a pool center on the golf and "new" tennis campus.
- 2013 – RSF Golf Board enlists the Association Board support to hire country club consultants ClubMark to determine member satisfaction and stem the decline in membership. Study results indicate need for additional amenities: health club, pool, casual dining.
- January 2014 – The Association established the Health Club Steering Committee to explore possible locations, membership and financing. This all-volunteer committee had no allocated Association staff.
- August 2014 – The Health Club Steering Committee determined that new health club facility and pool was feasible and beneficial to the community. Further, it recommended it be located at Location A, the space on the golf and tennis campus between the Players Club and the Tennis Facility.
- August – October 2014 – Multiple town halls held by Heath Club Steering Committee.
- October 2014 – Association Board votes to approve the Health Club Steering Committee recommendations and send it to a community-wide vote.
- November 2014 - Community-wide vote on Location A and additional feasibility spending. The vote passed.
- January 2015 – A new, Covenant Club Committee, with three subcommittees was established (Design, Membership, Finance).
- January 2015 – Community-wide posting for subcommittee positions. All volunteers were accepted. Covenant Club Chair (Heather Slosar), Design Subcommittee Chair (Jerry Yahr), Membership Subcommittee Chair (Heather Slosar), Finance Subcommittee Chair (Mike Licosati).
- January 2015 – Association submits RFP for architect
- March 2015 – Association selects Kirk Mason Architects chosen among three finalists.
- April – October 2015 – Subcommittees hold open meetings for the community. Membership and finance subcommittees work with potential designs to gauge acceptable membership and finance models.
- October 2015 - The Design Sub Committee votes to locate the Covenant Club at Location A.
- December 2015 - The Design Sub Committee updates the design, including steam rooms, adult hot tub and cafe, among other items.
- January 2016 - Another, nearly final design plan, is submitted by the Design Sub Committee.
What's still to come:
- November 2015 – March 2016 – Subcommittees to present community with full plan that includes design, membership (fees, dues) and financial plan via a town hall.
- February 2016 - Geotechnical studies to be complete.
- February 2016 - The final design is submitted to the Board by the Design Sub Committee.
- February 2016 - Presentation of the final Covenant Club plan to the Association Board. Board vote.
- March 2016 – Community-wide vote.
